Introducing Memberships!

Updated: Jan 5

Good day, Crafties!

I've been sitting on secrets and it's about time to spill the beans, I'd say. The journey of becoming an independent crochet & knitwear designer is a rocky one, in my opinion at least.

I've had a lot of fun these last 5 years, sharing my knowledge and ideas with the world. I've come to realize some things though in that time and now, I want to start a new leg of my small business journey.

As you all know, I've been working at adding video tutorials to all my published designs. This has become a lengthier process that I'd first anticipated but I think that's okay. I also have a series of projects for the Sentro Knitting Machine that I've created including socks with hand knit heels and grafted toes; as well as kneesocks. I've been sitting on these tutorials because I wanted to introduce them in the right way.

In general, I know that written patterns aren't everyone's cup of tea. Personally, I like to have additional visual aids for some techniques so I thought that'd be an added perk for makers to purchase my designs. I think the issue I've been having is that people don't really know who the heck I am but, I have a feeling that this is a problem that will be resolved soon 😂.

Nonetheless, being that I am trying to make Infiniti Crafting Co. my full-time career, I have to earnestly sit down and think about all the time, resources, and materials it takes me to put out these projects. In the end, I decided that I couldn't really keep publishing these as I had in the past. I've done polling on my different social media in the past around opening channel memberships and the results had been disappointing to say the least. So I've held off on it.

Since that time, life has been kicking my rear and in order to keep doing all of this, I needed to find a way to make it sustainable. It's not as though I have companies lined up that sponsor my videos and such. More than that, I've never wanted to inundate my audience(s) with ad reads that just come across as ingenuine or annoying.

So what I ultimately did was rebrand and restart Hey Craftepreneur!, which was formerly a podcast circa 2021. I'd sunset the old program late last year because of a lack of interest. I've brought it back now simply as a subscription service for my premium pattern material.

This program is built directly into this website which means, I am not restricted by the TOS of YouTube. Specifically, I can't offer you my patterns/blogs as a perk to become a member of the channel directly. When I thought about starting this up in January, I was kind of bummed out after I read that bit and decided that it'd be better to branch off on my own in that regard.

What's included?

  • Ad-free written crochet, knitting, and Sentro project patterns directly

  • Accompanying video tutorials

  • Early access to new patterns

The new program is $5.99 + tax/ month. Subscribers, affectionately dubbed Super Crafties, will have full access to my pattern library for as long as they are subscribed.

As this is a new program, I'll be releasing at least 2 designs per month to start. If the program grows, I'll commit to additional content in the future.

You won't have to worry about storing and losing pattern files because they'll be available when you access your account!

What's Available?

What's Coming in August?

Another reason that I am excited for this program is that it'll allow me to more fluidly publish my design ideas. My creative mind thinks stuff up at a mile per minute and while I don't intend to become a machine, I'll be able to share my designs more readily. I think it'll also open things up for broader pattern testing too!

I'm really excited about this new opportunity and I hope that you are too! If there you have any additional questions, I'll be more than glad to do a video or live to address them. Just leave me a comment below.
