My name is Infiniti (yes that's my legal birth name), I started crocheting in 2013 as a way to keep my creative juices going and to express myself in places where I otherwise wouldn't be able to.
Infiniti Crafting Co. was originally 'Infiniti Crochet' in 2016 but, as I began to think more about what I wanted this experience to be, I later changed it to Infiniti Crafting Co. in 2018. I started writing and self publishing my own patterns in 2017 and continue to do so today. At the date of this blog article there are 40+ of my designs out there, bothe free and paid for your enjoyment.
Later in 2018, I began publishing crochet tutorials on YouTube. My main goal was to share what I knew from an art education perspective that made crocheting fun and painless. I also just wanted to show that you didn't have to be a little old lady to have these skills and enjoy them. Up to my temporary retirement in 2024, I'd shared hundreds of tutorials with many thousand Crafties around the world!
I was blessed to finally launch my website on Valentine's Day in 2021! In that time, I've shared patterns, glimpses into my personal life, product reviews and more. While I've always sought to make things cohesive here, I think that if there's one thing this business journey has taught me, it's that... that's boring!
I'm hoping that here in 2025 I can continue to offer new designs and ideas but mainly, I want my community to get to know me better as opposed to just being some hands on the internet.
This year I’m going to bring you:
knitting, crochet & Sentro patterns
feature independent artists (called Maker ShoutOuts)
share my favorite organizing/crafting tips
and yes, now and again, some of my day to day life things!
So, a little about me aside from Infiniti Crafting Company.
I love God first and foremost. Everything I've put my hands to has stemmed from a vision He has given me for my life. 💖
I am a huge bookworm. If I miss a post/stream/podcast it's probably because I binge read a series 😅
I started at a community college in 2016 for Art Education! I was also a mathematics tutor for Adult Education at the time. I've always had the spirit to help people and as I got older, I realized that my gifts were in instruction and mentorship. I graduated from there with honors in 2019, and in 2020, I transferred to Fontbonne University where I sought to complete my degree in Art Education. However, God had other plans and I graduated with Latin Honors with a degree in Fine Art and Business Administration.
I'm very family oriented! My grandma is my favorite person in the world.
I am a plant lady with a lot of herbalist knowledge.
